Party Rental Ltd. is the leading event rental company in the country, bringing to life more than 55,000 events and celebrations per year. We offer the widest variety and largest inventory of rental products in the nation. Since we were founded over 47 years ago, we’ve been family owned and organically grown. We pride ourselves on exceptional service, style, and innovation.

Our design team is constantly working to identify new product needs and trends, bring fresh inspiration to our clients, and launch exclusive new items every month. They travel the world looking for innovative product designs to offer our clients that set their events apart. Over 100 new products are added to our inventory every year. We have a team of Event Rental Specialists ready to assist you with your orders, out of which nine are Certified Event Rental Professionals (C.E.R.P.).

In addition to our passion for celebrations, we believe in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Our team operates like a family: we strive to give back by donating to local charities, volunteering our time and services, and pursuing various “green” initiatives to be good neighbors within the communities we serve.

History of Party Rental Ltd.
Over 45 years and we’re keeping the party going!

Party Rental Ltd., originally named Jersey Party Rental, began as a secondary line of business for Oprandy’s Liquor Store in Englewood, NJ. Oprandy’s rented tables, chairs, and glasses to the customers who were picking up beer, wine, and liquor for their home parties.

In April of 1972, our founders, Michael and Sunny Halperin, expanded their rental business into a 6-car garage located behind Oprandy’s store. Our original inventory consisted of 100 wooden chairs, 1 style of chinaware, 50 tables, and a few assorted odds and ends.

In just over a year we outgrew the garage and moved to a 10,000 sq.ft. facility in Englewood, NJ, and have continued to grow ever since. Today, our 300,000 square foot corporate headquarters and warehouse is located just outside New York City in Teterboro, NJ. Here, we house over three million individual rental items and our fleet of iconic pink hippo trucks that service over 55,000 events every year! We’re honored to call several other places home—Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Boston, the Hamptons, and their surrounding areas—proudly serving countless events in each region and beyond.
